The validity period of each quotation is stated within the quotation document. Where no validity period is stated, the quotation is valid for 48 hours from the date of issue.
All quotations are issued in EUR unless otherwise specified. Exchange rate fluctuations between quotation date and invoice date are for the client's account.
Unless explicitly confirmed in writing, the following are excluded: labour and handling equipment at any location; packing or crating materials; out-of-hours surcharges.
Dutch and EU customs duties, fees, taxes and VAT on goods are excluded unless explicitly stated. All such charges will be invoiced at cost.
No cargo insurance is included unless specifically requested in writing and confirmed. Davidson strongly recommends clients arrange adequate cargo insurance independently.
Quotations are based on rates and tariffs at time of issue. Davidson cannot be held responsible for price changes caused by fuel increases, currency fluctuations, carrier changes, acts of war or natural disasters.
Quotations exclude container demurrage and port or airline storage beyond standard free time.
All quoted rates are exclusive of Dutch VAT (BTW) where applicable.
